The SportMMA Championships are martial arts tournaments with a unique MMA theme. Open to all martial athletes regardless of style, affiliation, or experience, each division represents one facet of modern MMA; stand up fighting in the form of Continuous Point Fighting, grappling (Gi and No-Gi), and of course a combination of the two with the exciting Sport MMA division. Whatever your style, you can find one or more event to excel at.
SportMMA events are aimed at filling the gap between traditional martial arts tournaments and professional MMA fights. The goal is to provide an exciting, safe, competitive environment that is accessible to all at a recreational level - yet recognizes the competitor's MMA skills.

EARLY WEIGHT-IN: For all pre-registered, early weight-in will be happening on Friday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm at 1175 Wellington St (corner of Parkdale Ave). You will be receiving your competitor's package at the weight-in.
All attendees of the 2008 SportMMA Championship (competitors and spectators) will also have full access to the SuperEx and will be automatically be entered in prize draws throughout the day! We will be giving away 100s of prizes including movie passes, concert tickets (2 suite tickets for Oasis are up for grabs), martial arts gear and much, much more.
Championship winners will also be eligible for entry level sponsorships with some premier companies looking for new talent!
